Successful training for Filzwieser employees: the basics of extrusion

From September 3 to 5, five of our employees had the opportunity to participate in an intensive training course on “Fundamentals of Extrusion” held by and at the Lenzing Training Center. This training is part of our ongoing commitment to constantly expanding and deepening the knowledge and skills of our team.

Day 1: Theory in the company

The first day of the training was mainly theoretical in nature and took place on our own premises. Our employees were introduced to the basics of plastic production, different types of plastic and the basics of extrusion technology. Among other things, the physical and chemical processes that play a role in extrusion were discussed. A wide range of knowledge was imparted, from materials science to the various extrusion processes.

Day 2 3: Practice on site at the Lenzing Training Center

After the theoretical introduction, the second and third days were spent at the Lenzing training center, where the practical part of the training took place. Here, our employees were able to directly apply and deepen the knowledge they had learned. Under the guidance of the experienced experts Alex and Lukas, they had the opportunity to experience various extrusion machines in action and get hands-on experience. The practical application of theory helped them to better understand the processes and put technical know-how directly into practice.

Bottom line

The training was a great success and a valuable contribution to the further development of our employees. We are proud of our team’s commitment and willingness to learn and look forward to applying the knowledge gained in future projects.
